Deciduous perennial. The leaves on this variety are reminiscent of oak leaves, and grow up to two feet long. Can tolerate drought, but will go dormant in hot weather if not watered, then come back to life when it begins to rain. Tall spikes of white flowers with lavender accents are held high above the foliage clump. Blooms late spring to early summer. Moderate to regular water needs once established. Hardy to 0°F and below.
